Our race car is probably the best advertisement we could ask for.

The car is based upon a 1967 VW Beetle body shell, although the roof, 1/4 panels and front scuttle are all that remains original factory metal.

Underneath the shell and light weight fibre glass/carbon fibre body panels is roughly 55m of mild steel tube, formed into a chassis and cage. The complete chassis is constructed of steel tube. The entire car was built in house here at Cotsweld including the body and paintwork, suspension set up and engine build. (The original body was bought from a scrap yard for £5.00).

So you can see how much work has gone into the body preperation. The engine is a normally aspirated 2442cc VW flat four making this one of the quickest VW beetles in Europe and has won the British VW Pro Drag Racing championship.
